Dedicated Environment is an add-on for your cloud subscription. The accounts you choose trade from a dedicated IP in the location you pick, and they use the same device identity every time they connect.
  • A dedicated IP: only your accounts use it. Every account you switch on shares this one IP, in one location.
  • The same device identity: your accounts look like the same device every time they connect, not a different one after each restart.
  • You choose the accounts: you buy a number of seats, and each account you switch on uses one seat.
Accounts you don’t switch on, and all your accounts without the add-on, connect through our shared connection, as they do today.
Dedicated Environment doesn’t guarantee that a broker or prop firm will accept your setup. If your firm has rules about IPs or devices, check them before you trade.

Price

You buy at least 2 seats. For example, 5 accounts cost $55/month on a monthly plan. The billing period matches your plan’s, and the price is the same for every payment method. The Manage Subscription page always shows the current price before you pay.

How you’re billed

Depending on how you pay for your plan, Dedicated Environment is billed in one of two ways. The Dedicated Environment card shows which one applies to you.
  • Added to your plan: the add-on goes on your current subscription and renews with it. When you add it, you pay only for the rest of your current billing period.
  • Billed separately: if the card says Billed separately to your card, as its own subscription, the add-on is a second subscription, paid by card. Your plan and how you pay for it stay the same, so you’ll see two subscriptions: your plan and the add-on. You pay the full price for your seats when you add it, and it renews every month or year until you remove it. Use Manage billing on the card to update the card or download invoices for the add-on.

Add Dedicated Environment

The Dedicated Environment card is only in the new dashboard. To switch to it, open dashboard.heroncopier.com/subscription?ui=next. That browser stays on the new dashboard for 30 days. To go back, add ?ui=legacy to the page address.
1

Open Manage Subscription

Go to Manage Subscription in the dashboard and find the Dedicated Environment card.
2

Choose how many accounts and a location

Under How many accounts?, set the number of seats (at least 2). Then pick a location. See Choosing a location below.
3

Review and pay

Click Add 2 accounts for $25/month (the button shows your number of accounts and price) and check the review.
  • Added to your plan: the review shows the amount due today. If your payment needs confirming, finish it in the window that opens.
  • Billed separately: click Continue to payment and pay by card on the secure payment page, then come back to Manage Subscription. If you close the payment page without paying, nothing is charged.
4

Wait for setup

Setup usually takes a few minutes, and the card shows Setting up. The card then shows Active and your dedicated IP.
5

Switch on your accounts

Under Accounts on your dedicated IP, switch on the accounts that should use it. See Choosing your accounts below.
You can also add Dedicated Environment when you buy your plan with a card on heroncopier.com: turn on Add Dedicated Environment and choose the number of accounts. We pick a location for you, and you can change it on the Dedicated Environment card. With Bitcoin checkout, add it from your dashboard after you buy.

Choosing your accounts

The Accounts on your dedicated IP list on the card shows your cloud accounts, each with an on/off switch.
  • Switch an account on to move it to your dedicated IP. It uses one seat and reconnects once.
  • Switch an account off to move it back to the shared connection. Its seat is free for another account.
  • New accounts don’t use it until you switch them on.
  • Deleting an account frees its seat.
  • Tradovate and Rithmic: accounts that sign in with the same login are switched on and off together, and each one uses a seat.
If you have no free seat, the switch is greyed out. Click Add a seat next to it, or switch another account off first.

Changing seats

Use Change seats on the card, then click Add seats or Remove seats and check the review.
  • Adding seats: you pay today for the rest of your current billing period. After that, the new price renews with your plan. Then switch on the accounts that should use the new seats.
  • Removing seats: you can’t go below the number of accounts that use your dedicated IP. For example, with 5 accounts switched on, you can’t go down to 2 seats. Switch accounts off first.
  • Removed seats are credited, not refunded: the unused value goes to your balance and counts toward your next invoices.

Choosing a location

Pick the country you usually trade from. We suggest a location based on where you appear to be.

Changing the location

Pick a new location on the card and click Change location. There’s no extra charge.
  • You get a new dedicated IP. If you gave your current IP to your broker or firm, update it there once the new IP shows on the card.
  • Your accounts keep copying on the current IP until the new one is ready, usually in a few minutes. Then they reconnect once.
  • You can change the location once every 15 minutes. You can’t change it while the add-on is still setting up.

What “Offline” means

If the card shows Offline, your dedicated IP can’t be reached right now, so copying is paused on the accounts that use it. Your accounts don’t switch to the shared connection while this happens. They only trade from your dedicated IP. Copying resumes on its own as soon as the IP is back. If it stays offline for more than a few minutes, contact support.

Which platforms are covered

All platforms are covered: MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradeLocker, DXtrade, MatchTrader, TopstepX, Tradovate and Rithmic.

Remove Dedicated Environment

Click Remove on the Dedicated Environment card and confirm.
  • Your accounts go back to the shared connection one at a time and reconnect once.
  • If you add it back within 3 days, you keep the same dedicated IP. After that, the IP is released, and you get a new one next time.
  • Added to your plan: the unused time is credited to your balance, not refunded. The credit goes toward your next invoices.
  • Billed separately: the add-on’s subscription ends right away. The unused time is kept as a credit on it and goes toward the next time you add Dedicated Environment.
If your plan ends, Dedicated Environment ends too. If it’s billed separately, it stops renewing and ends at the end of the period you’ve paid for, so you aren’t charged again.
